I have never had my paradigm of God's Word so thoroughly altered as I did in the two hours it took to
go through Mitch Maher's Clarifying The Bible. Having grown up in the Church and then attending a Bible
college, I thought my understanding of God's masterplan was reasonably solid. I had learned the
seemingly disjointed stories of creation, the patriarchs, the prophets, Jesus' teaching, and the growth
of the Church. But it wasn't until I attended Maher's class that those stories fit into an historical
framework, a context through which I could more fully understand their relevance. I'd equate this to
learning about the parts of a car for your entire life and then finally learning what the car is.
How much more sense do a wheel or windshield make with that newfound understanding. With this broader
perspective of the Bible, God's sovereignty becomes more evident, His Grace more abundant, His design
for history even more compelling. I'd recommend everyone from new believers to the most learned elders
in the Church go through Clarifying The Bible. It is invaluable to understanding the historical
